CO2SS research on site qualification making international impact

/ June 7, 2024

In an article published this week in the International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control, one of the most relevant journals on the topic of “decarbonization” and rated at the highest level by the Qualis CAPES system, José Wilker Lima, a PhD student under Prof. Gustavo Oliveira, introduced, for the first time, a family of generalized mathematical models for qualifying CO2 storage sites. The methodology creates a series of indicators based on the fundamental properties of reservoirs and weighting functions that take into account the distance
